T Swift... You're killing me
Alright so I know I've posted a few rude comments on facebook about this so called artist, but enough is enough! Her latest song, I just heard on the radio, something about a fairy tale. Taylor Swift... WAKE UP! Get ride of the high school diary, stop putting ex boyfriends on your hit list and lets move forward. Yes, your E-True Hollywood story talks about how you came to fame at such a young age and you wrote your own songs and I really think that is awesome; but well I'm pretty sure every young girl once wrote a love song about someone they had a crush on. Luckily for you, this targeted such a huge fan base (young girls and boys) and Tim Mcgraw was your first big hit! I'll admit that you had a lot of determination to follow your dreams, but lets get real for a minute... You have a song about John Mayer, Taylor Laughtner, Jake Gyllenhaal, and some guy named Drew, I think there is a Tyler... Do you really want to be know as "that girl"? The one who can't get over a broken heart and writes a song about everyone who's wronged her? (and I mean everyone... the song Mean for example targets just about everyone who thought she wouldn't make it) Or someone who falls in love so quickly! With everyone! That's not love at all. T Swift, you actually have a great voice, and you can play an instrument! You've won billions of awards and those songs have worked out for you... until now! Start writing about things that actually happen in real life love stories. Write about families, how to be happy in this crappy economy, hard work, anything! But don't include kissing in the rain, ANYONE's names for that matter, Tuesday or Friday night, fairy-tale, romeo or juliet (so cliche), white horses not coming around. Aren't you seeing a pattern? Even the title to her last album "Speak Now". Every time I heard that I finished the sentence by saying or forever hold your peace... AGAIN about marriage or the guy you love is with the wrong girl! All of these titles and phrases and words were actually words my poetry teacher highly advised us, as writers, not to use if we wanted our poetry to really mean something. I understand that you are famous and you make billions of dollars, but come on. Earn some respect from an older age group or people older than the age of 12. Better yet, have some respect for yourself and challenge yourself to write something deeper than the surface. Or ask your mom what marriage is really like and write about that. I am so fed up with all of these stupid, ridiculous songs on the radio. And almost all of these songs sound the exact same. I know so many people who are truly writers and have some amazing stuff that'll never get heard. So take advantage of what you've been given and write something worth listening to...something that moves people. Something that inspires others to go home and write down how they feel that instant; because good music, that's what it should do.

HAHAHAHAHAHA thank you my dear, she has one about a Stephen too... Poor, dumb, blonde. People with that kind of power need an adviser... or at least a mom who says "please stop whining, please." I would be freaked out to date her. But, at least she keeps her clothes on.
