So Long UVU

I am done with school and I just wanted to list a few things I will not be missing:

No more getting off that stupid University Parkway Exit

So long awful, terrible, miserable parking (and the $80 fee)

No more ridiculous roundabout

See ya HOMEWORK

So long paying for books, tuition, fees, class fees, all other fees schools like to toss in there.

Goodbye bogus school!  No more association with the athletic department or any other department in that school that is constantly compared to BYU.
No more being surrounded by really, really immature students (unless I go to a movie like I mentioned on Facebook)

No more group projects!!!!! Gosh worst part of college.  Having to get to know people you don't really care to, then dealing with the one member of the group that just wants to sit and watch and get a good grade.

No more 5,10,15 page papers on Health Care, Jeffrey Dahmer, or Amnesia (Nichole you should feel free)

NO MORE APA FORMAT!!!

Goodbye rules such as: no cell phones in class, no laptops in class, can't be late, can't have absences, blah blah blah. DONE with those.

See ya packed lunches.  Well, maybe not entirely, but at least I don't have to eat a PB&J every.single.day.

So long reading text books that I do not care to read.  Now I might actually have time to read a book I want to.

No more studying!  No more flash cards, or having Jace quiz me, or staying up late or taking notes really, really fast because teachers talk way, way too fast.

Some of the things I am looking forward to are:

Reading a book I want to read out of pure enjoyment

Being able to take care of my house.  This sounds silly that I am actually looking forward to cleaning regularly, laundry, dishes, etc., but these are things that I enjoy taking care of.  Because Jace works really hard and it'll be nice to have a clean house to come home to. (instead of one where tables are covered in homework and books, backpacks and sack lunches.)

Taking my dog on a walk.

Eating more than 1 meal with my husband. a. day.

Washing my car.

Going to the store.

Getting ready because I feel like it, not because I have to look presentable.

Tweezing my eyebrows!  Whenever I want!  And painting my nails!  These things I hardly had time for, now I do.

Going to the gym before work.

Blogging regularly.

Seeing my family more often.

Getting ready for baby Brink and his nursery and all.

Family Time with Jace.

Cheers to all Grads!  "Schools out for... ever!"
