Catch Up

So... Long story short.  Jace and I went out to Indiana, and came back a week later because Jace's arm is done-zo.  He just can't take the pain.  We met with the coaches and made the drive back to Utah about a week ago.  Yes although it was hard, we haven't looked back yet.  We've just been looking for a place to live and jobs to have for the summer.  Right now we are the biggest mooches ever and are currently sleeping on an air mattress at Jace's parents house... in the living room... living out of boxes.  It is a tight squeeze!  Keep your eyes open for any kinda living for us!

Jace finally got a job with Spanish Fork City so that'll be good.  We now have a source of income, whew.  Things were getting crazy.  And our medical bills are paid off!  I met with the Doc on monday and he took another X ray and said everything looks like it is healing up pretty good and to just go easy on myself.  Come november I should be back to 100%.  I thought it'd be interesting to ask when I can have children and he said we could start as soon as november and I freaked out!  Although I am not ready to be a mom, Jace is a baby hungry fool lately.  I need at least 3 more years... then we'll talk.

I decided to quit softball because I just didn't feel great about it anymore.  I feel like my wreck was a career ending injury and I would rather just move on rather than rehab it, after being out 1 whole year, only to play for one more year.  My coach is awesome and totally understood.  He actually asked me to do this work study thing where I will get paid 9 bucks an hour to help him on the field, do the books etc., and I think it pays for tuition so I'm trying to work that out!  Then I won't feel so guilty for not getting my school paid for.  I feel like I did the right thing, it's just weird that it's just over... I still don't believe it.  I probably won't believe it until August when I don't report back...

Dot's hair was getting really mangy and long so instead of spending $25 dollars on a puppy cut, I DIY-ed it!  I googled how to cut your dog at home and pulled out the clippers and got to cutting.  She was pretty good for the most part!  Then I bathed her and all. I cut her ear hair pretty short!  She looks so cute!  Jace thinks she looks like a chubby little girl with a china doll hair cut haha and even though it is true, it sure makes ya smile every time you look at her!  She is my little pride and joy right now!  I love her energy.  She is NUTS!  I think I would be just like her if I was a dog.  Sometimes I wish I could be that carefree and just wander around looking for mischief to cause.  She's so fun.

My hair is blonde now!  Blonder than Randee's my family thinks.  I really miss being dark, especially because now when I say something stupid my family can blame it on my hair, but I think I'll tough it out for a little longer.  It's a fun change.  I really am temped to chop it off, but then I remember how I don't like that so much.

Jace is awesome!  We've gotten to spend lots of time together while we were both unemployed, going to the gym, going on walks, with polka dot, playing games.  It was fun while it lasted!  Believe it or not we are looking forward to having jobs and our own place again.  We are so happy with our little family.  Including Hobbs, our black lab.  He is so mellow and just lets Dot run circles around him and try to bite his gigantic tongue.  She starts to chase him and run circles and he just lays down like, "ok crazy you're making me dizzy, chill the freak out or I might just eat you."  But he is so nice to her it's fun!  Sure hope this weather clears up for good soon.  I'll post more pictures soon!

Love,
B Hoffs
