I don't even know where to start! Last week I was going crazy being home alone every day without Jace, watching t.v. doing my physical therapy, never going outside, can't really walk, can barely shower! I was going nuts! My sister Nichole and her family at least came to stay with me and she could tell I was about to lose it. So I decided to go up north to the O'Brien family Christmas party and spend a few days there just to change the scenery up a little. This was all good and fun except for the part that Jace would have to stay home to work and study. It was really hard to be away from him, but he was able to drive up Saturday to come to the party as well after fighting to get work off. We got to spend time with all of my family including the little ones! It was such a fun weekend, and I finally made it to sacrament! It's been really hard to re learn how to walk and use my hip but I am glad to say I make progress each week. I've got crutches, a walker and a wheel chair depending on my outfit! haha just kidding it really just depends on where we go. I've started to hobble around a little bit, but when i've over done it I can sure feel it the next day. It feels like I don't have a left hip. Like there is nothing connecting my leg to my waist, it's a crazy feeling.
This week is Finals week! I am happy to say that I finished all of my Finals today and Jace only has one more tomorrow! I really hope I get good grades after having to miss school from being in a wreck. Before the wreck I had a 4.0, my first 4.0 ever too, and now I'm worried that because I wasn't actually at school, I will get docked for participation points and that will lower my grades. I don't think it is fair, so lets hope I still get good grades. My last Final was a six page essay on two different questions and I just did it all in about three hours coming out with 8 pages! I did not think i'd get that many! I love when that happens, you try to BS a paper and end up getting way more out of it than you thought you would! Awesome!
We decided to sleep over at the Brinkerhoff's last night to give me a new scenery and I went and bought fun things to decorate mine and Jace's stockings with. We also get to play with Dot so that will be a good, fun change!
Overall, the wreck has brought us much closer. I do not recommend getting in a wreck ha, but I think that it has helped us define what it really means to be a husband and wife to each other and how to pick ourselves up even when life is hard. We are grateful for this opportunity to learn and grow! Saturday is our 4 month mark or marriage! Here's to us and our Eternity! It;s gonna be BANGIN!! WOOT WOOT!!
The best and birds,
Reilee Hoff
